Grace David
MA, LCPC
For Grace, being a counselor is who she is not just what she does professionally. She was drawn to counseling while still in high school when her friendships revealed she was a naturally good listener and gifted with intuition, compassion and the ability to empathize with others. She responded to this by pursuing a B.A. in Psychology at Wheaton College and continuing on to get her M.A. in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary.
She believes in a relational approach to counseling and as such, strives to provide a safe place for people to be heard and find acceptance of where they truly are – not just where they think they should be.
It is her belief that this authentic, relational approach is what ultimately effects deep heart change. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sexual abuse, grief, and a variety of women’s issues. She feels especially passionate about helping women find their voice, treat themselves with compassion, and identify and confront the obstacles that keep them from being who they are truly meant to be.
