Maybe You've Been Carrying More Than Anyone Realizes
From the outside, your life probably looks pretty good. Most people would never guess how much effort it takes just to make it through the day. Tap what feels familiar.
Most people have no idea how much effort it takes just to get through an ordinary day.
Anxiety can turn even quiet moments into something loud and hard to shake.
Relationships can drift in ways that are hard to explain, even to yourself.
Exhaustion, grief, and overwhelm can build slowly, long before anyone names them.
Taking care of everyone else often means your own needs come last.

Therapy Is More Than Advice
Most people who come to us have already spent a long time trying to solve the problem on their own. What they need isn't someone to tell them what to do. They need someone who will listen carefully enough to understand what's really happening beneath the surface.
Not just the symptoms that brought you in, but the patterns that have shaped your life along the way.
Your treatment plan is shaped around who you are, using approaches backed by real clinical evidence, not just the symptoms that brought you through our door.
Wherever you're starting from, our hope is that therapy becomes more than a place to talk. We want it to become a place where real change begins.

Why We Choose Not to Work With Insurance
Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis before they'll cover a session, and that diagnosis becomes part of your permanent medical record. We don't think you should need a label to get support.
Your diagnosis and session notes are never sent to an insurance company or added to a record outside this practice.
Insurance can dictate how often you meet and sometimes which therapist you're allowed to see. With private pay, it's you and your therapist deciding what you need, for as long as you need it.
Therapists who bill insurance often carry thirty or more clients to make the math work. Ours don't, which means we can respond quickly and stay available between sessions.
Many plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network care. We're happy to provide a superbill you can submit directly to your insurance provider.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all. Reaching out for support takes real courage, not weakness. In our work together, we'll focus on your strengths and how to use them to reduce the hold these problems have on your life.
Friends and family care about you, but they're close to the situation, and their advice often comes from their own experiences. A therapist listens without judgment, has training in recognizing patterns you might not see, and is focused entirely on what's helpful for you.
Medication can be an important part of treatment for some people, and we're glad to coordinate with your prescriber if you're already taking something. But medication alone doesn't address the patterns or experiences contributing to how you feel. Therapy gives you tools that keep working long after a session ends.
There's no script to follow. Sessions usually start with talking through what's going on in your life, and your therapist will guide the conversation based on your goals. Some sessions involve specific techniques or exercises; others are simply a space to think out loud with someone trained to help you make sense of it.
It depends on what you're working through and what you're hoping to get out of it. Some people come for a few months to work through something specific; others stay longer to keep building on what they've learned. We'll check in regularly and adjust the plan together.
Showing up consistently and being honest, even when it's uncomfortable, makes the biggest difference. Therapy works best when you're willing to try things outside of session too, whether that's noticing a pattern during the week or practicing something new before your next appointment.
Restore Hope. Live Better.
This Is What Change Can Look Like
Most people don't come to therapy because they want advice. They come because something in life isn't working the way they hoped it would. Our job isn't to tell you who to become. It's to help you understand what's getting in the way of the life you want, and walk alongside you as real change happens.
Over time, many people find they're not just experiencing fewer symptoms. They're communicating more honestly, feeling more connected to the people they love, and discovering a renewed sense of hope.
